Just a reminder that the Mechanicsville Civic Association will be meeting on Monday, November 2 at 6:30pm. The meeting is normally held at Dunbar Recreation Center, Room 207, but will be held virtually due to COVID-19. You can find more information about the meeting here and below:

Please note that we will be discussing officer nominations at this meeting. Due to COVID-19, specific sections of the bylaws have been temporarily suspended to reduce the number of required attended meetings from 6 to 4.
We will also be considering two amendments to bylaws to allow for greater community participation in our upcoming elections:
- Reduce the residency requirement from two years to one year
- Reduce the board term length from two years to one year
